Architecturally stately, this family residence, located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, is rooted in the more formal past yet made livable for contemporary times. Amid the more casual spaces are rooms that, while slightly more dressed up, feel just as relaxed. The kitchen, reminiscent of an early twentieth-century manor-house kitchen, was designed for modern functionality with conveniences and technology cleverly tucked away behind the classically-appointed finishes. So, too, with the home’s pine-paneled, state-of-the-art wine cellar, which was outfitted for sipping and lounging.
